A heavy looking Miley Cyrus joined her mom Tish Cyrus for breakfast in Los Angeles, California on February 15, 2011. The mother daughter pair shared a laugh but then the conversation looked to have gotten serious. Miley’s father Billy Ray Cyrus has just come out in an interview with GQ blaming her hit show “Hannah Montana” for destroying his family and causing Miley to go out of control due to the worldwide stardom she has received for it. Could all of the stress from family problems and work be the cause of what looks to be weight gain?
Miley Cyrus did not take kindly to her father, Billy Ray Cyrus’s tell-all interview in the recent issue of GQ Magazine. In the interview, Billy Ray, who wasn’t exactly a choir boy himself back in the day, compared his daughter to several famous, now deceased “train wrecks” including Kurt Cobain, Anna Nicole Smith, and Michael Jackson. Billy Ray made it clear that he thinks his daughter could easily follow in those doomed stars’ footsteps. In fact, he feels she’s already headed down the primrose path to ruin. Goodness. No wonder the former Hannah Montana star has broken off all communication with him.
Of course, according to Hollywood News, the Cyrus father-daughter relationship has been gravely strained for quite a while. In fact, “Miley and Billy Ray haven’t been speaking for some time and the interview has only made the situation worse.” Miley simply cannot believe that her father would disrespect her by claiming that her wildly successful Disney series, Hannah Montana, not only contributed to what he perceives as her downward spiral, but also helped ruin his marriage and destroy the family. Miley wonders angrily, and quite understandably, why Billy Ray “went years without saying a thing about (Hannah Montana) as it made millions for them.”
Inside sources say that Miley refuses to make the first move toward re-establishing a relationship with her father. So, it looks like the ball is in Billy Ray’s court. He’ll have to make the first move.
Perhaps Miley Cyrus should try to be a little more understanding about her father and his perhaps exaggerated sense of concern for her welfare. On the other hand, Billy Ray should face the immutable fact that his “little girl” is a financially independent adult, and, as such, she’s free to live life as she sees fit.

After skipping his way through every twentysomething north of Rodeo Drive, rumor has it that 33-year-old John Mayer spent last weekend “hooking up” (Hint, Nudge, Wink…) with 18-year-old Miley Cyrus.

“Miley is very turned on by John,” a loose-lipped Cyrus informant tells the tab. “He usually plays in nonchalant, but he’s interested too. They’ve actually been friends for years, but now that she’s 18, he’s really digging the attention. I think they’re both ready for a good time!”
The teenage scandal-magnet followed the notorious womanizer around all night “like a puppy dog” at Clive Davis’ Pre-Grammy Party last Saturday night. Aside from singing, the evening was filled with nausea-inducting public displays of affection.
“She put her arm around his waist, and even grabbed his behind,” an eyewitness told the mag, and apparently Mayer “reciprocated.”
“Things got even hotter between them the following evening at the Grammys,” another source chimed in
Backstage, Miley was rubbing John’s back, and when he thought no one was looking, he leaned over and kissed her.
“It was quick and intense and a bit shocking, but it also seemed sweet,” says the eyewitness. “Afterward, Miley slapped his butt and told him, ‘You rock!’”

“Miley’s parents Billy Ray and Tish are freaked out about her interest in John, but she’s not listening to them at all!”

It was only a year ago that Miley’s pal Taylor, also more than a decade John’s junior, took up with the rocker only to end up heartbroken. You know…“allegedly.” Miley is under the delusion — er — impression that she’ll replace Jessica Simpson as John’s next “sexual napalm.”
“Miley has told her friends she believes she can make John a one-woman man. She thinks they’d make a great pair because she’s as wild as he is!”

The 18 year-old has been under media scrutiny for the most part of her life, so Miley was bound to make a lot of mistakes. However, Miley also did many good things for other – she has her own Get Ur Good On, an organization linked to the Youth Service America program, and works with Blessing In a Backpack (also supported by Hilary!).
Miley delivered a good acceptance speech about the importance of giving back. Here’s what she had to say:
“I want [kids] to do something they love,” Miley said. “Not something that seems like a chore because someone tells them that’s the right thing to do or what their parents want or what’s important to people around them but what’s on their heart.”
